According to the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS), more than 44,000 workers are injured annually due to fall accidents. If you aren’t careful, you could be putting your employees and customers in harm’s way. The good news is there are steps you can take to help prevent these types of accidents from happening. First, always make sure your floors are dry and free of debris with the right mops and cleaning supplies. Next, properly place floor mats to help reduce wet floors, therefore minimizing the risk of slips. And if an accident does occur, make sure you’re prepared to quickly treat an injury by having a fully stocked, easy-to-access first aid kit.
