COMMITMENT TO MOVING FORWARD

Responsibility is a value that consistently shows up throughout our company. It’s even woven into our brand promise: People You Can Count On^®. It should come as no surprise that we strive to be a leader in corporate responsibility, but what is eye-opening are some of the stats that support these efforts:

• Solar power has reduced our carbon footprint by 232 metric tons per year or the equivalent of saving 189 acres of forest.
• We shipped more than 60,000 pounds of used mats to power boilers on nuclear submarines.
• We became re-certified for another three years as a TRSA Clean Green organization, which means that our uniforms, linens, mats, towels and other textiles are laundered in an environmentally friendly manner.
• Our employees contributed more than 4,200 volunteer hours during our company-wide Day of Service.

We feel it’s our responsibility to test new technology and move the industry forward, which is why we continue to introduce more efficient, safe and eco-friendly practices that benefit our customers, employees, communities and environment. Our customers know that doing business with us goes beyond providing a fair price – it’s about what we’re investing in long-term and the impact we’re making in our communities.
